Forma targets wrinkling and sagging areas of the face, particularly on the forehead, cheeks (smile lines),crows feet, under-eye area, jaw line, and neck
Plus can be used on larger areas of the body that may need contraction and tightening. Most common areas of treatment include the abdomen, arms (bat wings), inner thighs, outer thighs, buttocks, back fat, and knees.
Q How does Forma and Plus compare to other skin tightening technologies?
Forma and Plus differ from other radiofrequency technologies such as Thermage and Fraxel in that Forma is constantly measuring skin temperature and automatically adjusting energy levels to maintain the optimum temperature for skin contraction. This ultimately allows for a much greater degree of skin tightening, comfort, and overall patient safety. Dr, Rose also believes that Forma provides a more effective, predictable result and a much more comfortable experience than Ultherapy, which Dr. Rose used to offer, but has since discontinued us in favor of Forma.
Q How long do treatments and the program take?
It is recommended that weekly sessions be performed over a six to eight-week period for best results, although some patients may require fewer sessions. The length of each treatment depends upon the number and size of treatment areas Treatment time generally runs 30 to 45 minutes per session. Please expect to be in the office for approximately one hour.
Forma and Plus also works well in combination with other treatments. Ask about treatment combinations that can achieve remarkable comprehensive results.
